Acimall – the Italian woodworking machinery and tools manufacturers’ association – was created in Milan in 1966. It represents 174 companies that jointly employ approximately 9 thousand people and generate 1.8 billion Euro revenues, with an export share above 70 percent.

Representing the vast majority of industry companies, Acimall is a qualified reference for all national and international institutions that the woodworking machinery industry deals with.

Acimall is actively involved in Federmacchine – the federation that gathers 13 national associations representing as many branches of the machine tools industry – and Eumabois, the European federation gathering the representatives of 14 national associations, whereby Acimall is the Eumabois Secretariat. Acimall also develops promotion initiatives on a global scale in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE). As a national industry association, Acimall is a member of Cfi (Italian industrial fair committee), Confindustria (the general federation of the Italian industry) and UNI (the Italian standardization institute).
